Putting your own house in order

I find it quite sordid that our Interior Minister Rehman Malik and leader of Lashkar-e-Tayyba (LeT), Hafiz Saeed have commented on what Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan (SRK) wrote in a magazine highlighting his frustration with religious tension in India. SRK is an Indian and has every right to complain about his country’s system as that’ the only way to improve it, but why did these two honourable gentlemen had to comment on it was beyond my understanding? First of all SRK didn’t call for help, even if they claim to be humanitarians in offering their help, they should first look at the current conditions in Pakistan.
Leaders from a country which is marred with religious, sectarian and ethnic conflicts, have to put their own house in order, before offering help to others. I find these unwarranted comments from Malik and Saeed as conspiracy against Indian Muslims. Such a cheap attempt to score a point may force Indian Muslims to keep quiet on issues, otherwise these issues will be high jacked by militants and their propaganda purposes, providing a tool to Indian extremists to lash-out at Indian Muslims.
