KARACHI - Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said that some elements affiliated with other political parties are trying their best to allure few party legislators but MQM-P is the only political force that carries no concept of horse trading in its ranks.

Siddiqui who is newly appointed Convener of MQM-P expressed these views while talking to the media after offering fateha at Shuhda Qabristan – Martyrs Graveyard Yaseenabad along with members of party coordination committee members. Khawaja Ahsanul Hassan, Faisal Sabzwari, Aminul Haq and Shabbir Qaimkhani and other MQM-P leaders from the Bahadurabad faction were also along with party head Siddiqui. MQM-P leaders laid flowers wreath on the graves.

Later speaking to the media men, Siddiqui said that some forces were trying their best to the create horse trading like situation in MQM-P with an aim to take advantage from the current situation but history shows that MQM never allowed such incidents happened. Even if such incidents would occur then the party member involved would be expelled from the party.

To a question about the further division in MQM-Pranks, Siddiqui claimed that party stood untied and there was no chance of any further division within the party ranks. He said that MQM growth is hailed from the sacrifices of the martyrs and the movement will continue without any further division. MQM-P Convener said that the history of the party carries the chapters of unprecedented sacrifices whereas it is our norm to visit Martyrs Graveyard after being awarded any key slots of organisation.
