Punjab governor addresses 64th Founder’s Day of Sadiq Public School

BAHAWALPUR - The nation would have to repose trust in the youth to get them prepared for future challenges as they are the real future architects, declared Punjab Governor Malik Rafiq Rajwana here on Wednesday,

The Punjab governor was addressing the 64th Annual Founder’s Day of Sadiq Public School here on Wednesday.

Praising role of Sadiq Public School, the governor said that such a great institution in Southern Punjab has assumed the status of a base for development. He added that students passed out from here are serving the nation in different fields including politics and effectively contributing to the national development.

He pointed out that children from all over the country are getting education in Sadiq Public School without any discrimination which is an honour for this area.

“Founder of this great institution Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi did a great service by establishing this institute,” he lauded.

He went on to say that this institute also educates female students whose discipline, great performance in academics and co-curricular activities have always earned laurels both for their parents and the institution.

“We need to make our new generation confident so that they can face modern age challenges without fear,” the governor stressed. Rafique Rajwana praised that achievements and performance of the youth make him proud and satisfied that they will take over their responsibilities successfully. He maintained that the country security institutions - Police, Army and Rangers have rendered great sacrifices for countering internal and external threats to the motherland.

He asserted that it is the responsibility of media to promote positive thinking because in the sea of disappointment island emerges, adding that effects of negative thinking hinders development and prosperity.

Showering praise brilliant students, the Punjab governor that parents deserves to be praised whose children have received prizes and medals.

He said that students must work hard to uphold the flag of Pakistan.

Earlier, Sadiq Public School Principal Prof Mian Muhammad Ahmad in his addressed briefed the governor about the history of school, curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities along with school’s achievements at national and international levels. Later, the Punjab governor distributed medals and prizes 40 students for their outstanding performances.
