A man in Karachi, became under arrest after displaying armour in public on Monday.
According to the sources, as a local media channel broadcasted the man wandering with armour in streets of neighbourhood the police took prompt action of the incident.
It is important to be stated here that the incident happened on February 13 in Karachi’s Orangi Town area where the display spread panic amongst people.
SSP West, Suhai Aziz Talpur, taking personal notice of the incident accompanied the Police raid on Saturday which provided the information of unregistered armour under his possession.
As per display of the armour laws of the country, public display of weapons is an offense and carries a penalty of up to seven years in prison.
In addition, a similar incident occurred on February 7 when the two culprits were arrested on the exposure of armour in social media posts.
As per the sources of police, two suspects belonging from ‘Bambala Gang’ were involved in the practice of uploading personal photographs with armour on social media.
