This letter is in response to your editorial yesterday on Reko Diq. There is no commercial copper mining experience in the country. Saindak was a disaster because of this and Reko Diq will be an even bigger disaster if the professionals with commercial mining experience are not involved. Mining few tons of Uranium for in house use is not same as extracting thousands of tons of ore every day. It seems the homework has not been done. DR FARID A MALIK, January 14.
