TANDO MUHAMMAD KHAN - Member Sindh Assembly and Pakistan People’s Party leader Syed Mohsin Shah died at Aga Khan Hospital, Karachi after suffering from abdomen cancer. He was 61. He was elected as MPA twice in his political career.

Mr Shah was born in 1949 in TM Khan. He got his initial education from Hyderabad and was known as active politician in TM Khan. He was a close friend of Federal Minister for Water and Power Syed Naveed Qamar. He was suffering from abdomen cancer for the last a couple of years. He was also taken to London for treatment last year.

Later, he returned from London and admitted to Aga Khan Hospital in Karachi where he breathed his last.

His funeral was offered on Saturday in his native town which was participated by a large number of citizens and politicians including Federal Minister Syed Naveed Qamar, MPA Abdul Karim Soomro, MPA Nawaz Chanido, Deputy Commissioner Syed Barkat Ahmed Rizvi, Haji Amin Lakho, Shahzad Subpoto, Abdul Karim Sheikh, Muhammad Usman Khatri and others.

Talking to media here after attending the funeral, Federal Minister for Water and Power Syed Naveed Qamar said that the government would overcome the ongoing gas and electricity crisis in the coming months. He said that the government would complete its tenure with the support of the masses and carry forward the mission of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto. He said that certain elements are busy conspiring against the government but the PPP would foil all such tactics.
