LAHORE – TheNation Editor-in-Chief and Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Chairman Majid Nizami on Saturday asked Nawaz Sharif to contact Chaudhry Shujjat Hussain for the unification of various factions of Muslim League.

Addressing the teachers at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan, he urged upon them to train the youth in a manner that they could confront Indian conspiracies against the country in future.

Senior teachers attended the Ideological Training Workshop held under the aegis of the NPT.

Majid Nizami welcomed the participants and told them that India had been hatching conspiracies against Pakistan since its birth. “She wants to turn country’s land into desert by blocking water from our rivers besides her aide Israel and America desire to destroy Pakistan’s atomic capabilities,” he added.  In this situation, he stressed, the teachers should inform the students that how Pakistan was achieved after rendering sacrifices by millions of Muslims of the region. It was your duty to make the youth a true Pakistani and told them that no need to be worried as Pakistan came into being to exist forever and no one could bring harm to its atomic arsenals, he maintained.

Majid Nizami told them that he had served in Pakistan Movement when he was a student at Islamia College Railways Road Lahore. “We sacrificed a lot for Pakistan but unfortunately we failed to keep it united,” he said while speaking in the context of Bangladesh’s separation from Pakistan.  He regretted that still Pakistan could not build strong relations with Bangladesh in the field of education, trade etc.

Nizami observed that unification of various faction of Muslim League could bring out the country from present crises, saying his mission was to make a united Muslim League. Referring the recent statement of Chaudhry Shujjat in which the Q-League President asked Nawaz Sharif to contact with him if he (Nawaz) wants results, Majid Nizami also asked the PML-N President to speak to Chaudhry Shujjat in this regard.

He regretted upon the situation which had been created in the country on the memo-gate issue. He referred a newspaper article in which Mansoor Ijaz had been mentioned Qadyani. He said that Mansoor’s actual mission was to destabilise Pakistan.  Majid Nizami, on the occasion of 112th birth anniversary of Hafiz Jalandhari, the composer of National Anthem of Pakistan, prayed for the late poet’s soul and said that name of late Hafiz would forever be remembered with great respect.

Professor Dr Sarfraz Hussain Mirza delivered a lecture on Pakistan Movement at multi-media.  The teachers also visited the Pakistan Movement pictures’ gallery at Aiwan.

Senator Naeem Hussain Chattah, Trust Secretary Shahid Rasheed and Rafaqat Riaz were also present on the occasion.
