KHANEWAL - Pakistan Railways administration has not yet taken notice of cycle stand closure at the city railway station.
The said cycle stand has been closed for the last six months without any justification, owing to which people are facing problems in parking their motorcycles outside the station. On the other hand, Pakistan Railways is also facing financial loss due to the slackness of commercial section of railways.
Reportedly, with the help of Station Superintendent and railway police, an illegal parking lot has been set up, which is causing great financial loss to Pakistan Railways. The citizens and civil society activists demanded General Manger, Railways Minister and Divisional Superintendent to take the notice of the issue.
