LARKANA - Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Asif Sandila has said that the Pak Army is proud of its Cadet College Larkana where students are being educated to play their role to defend the country. He said he solutes martyred Major Mujahid Mirani who sacrificed his life to safeguard the motherland.

Addressing a ceremony held in connection with 20th Parents Day here at Cadet College on Saturday, he expressed that it is a commendable performance of the college that has created national heroes. He said martyred Major Mujahid Mirani was the student of the college, which is a great achievement for the college. He said country’s technology based education would play vital role in the development. He hoped that country’s youth would play their part in the development of Pakistan.

Sandila said that Cadet College Larkana is imparting the quality education in the upper Sindh.  He announced a grant of Rs0.5 million for the college and inaugurated the Science and Art Gallery.  He also distributed cash prizes and shields among the best performing teachers and students. On the occasion, principal Cadet College SM Yousaf welcomed the CNS Sandila and chairman Board of Governors, members and other guests on their arrival.
