LAHORE (PR) - Mental Health Federation of Pakistan (MHFP) has organised a free camp for poor patients suffering from mental illness. 

Dr Khalida Tareen and experts came from England including Dr Tanvir Rana, Dr Muhammad Salim, Dr Masood Akhtar and Dr Iftikhar Ahmed were also present.

The experts provided free consultation and medicines to the deserving patients. Prof IAK Tareen said that depression, anxiety and other mental illnesses were increasing in the general population and the treatment facilities remain very inadequate.

 He said that unemployment, poverty and increasing cost of living was making it difficult for people to seek treatment.
