LAHORE - A session’s court has once again issued notices to Faisal Town Police SHO in connection with an application filed by a woman seeking registration of FIR against PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri, and others over non-payment of her promised-dues for taking part in Inqilab March.

The judge adjourned further proceedings on Wednesday till January 22, seeking reply from Faisal Town police for not hearing the grievances of the petitioner.

Hajan Momina, the petitioner, had said that Dr Qadri, his son Hassan Mohayudin, daughter Fatima and PAT president Raheeq Abbasi had promised her and other women including Shaista, Farzana, Saima, Syeda Baby, Amna and Shahbana Bibi to pay Rs3500 per day for joining PAT’s Inqilab March but she never received the money.

The petitioner said that she had asked the leadership to pay her promised-dues but they did not entertain her. She approached the police station concerned to lodge FIR against the PAT leadership but they simply refused to take any action. The petitioner then requested the court to direct Faisal Town police to register FIR against PAT Chief and others.

On the previous hearing, the court had sought comments from SHO Faisal Town by January 14 but no one appeared in the court on behalf of the police station concerned while PAT leadership denied any affiliation with the lady.

After hearing the initial arguments on Wednesday, the court again issued notices to Faisal Town police with directions to submit reply on next hearing.
