ISLAMABAD- The Interior Ministry has started crackdown on Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) involved in illegal activities in the federal capital.
Sources said, 13 international NGOs will be banned in the first step on report of security agencies. The evidences about their involvement in illegal operations have been provided to the Interior Ministry, by the intelligence departments.
The Spokesperson of the Interior Ministry confirmed that, action was being taken against foreign-funded NGOs which are involved in illegal activities. However, he didn’t mention any name in this regard.
