RIYADH- Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today severely condemned French newspaper’s act of publishing blasphemous sketches, advising the world community to discourage the publication of provocative content.

He said religious sentiments must not be mutilated in the guise of freedom of expression. PM add that publishing slanderous sketches of Prophet Muhammad , hurts millions of Muslims across the globe.

World community must also take adequate steps to address the offensive act, he added. Earlier, PM arrived in Riyadh today on a two-day private visit to Saudi Arabia to inquire after the health of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.
