PM Nawaz to pay a private visit to Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah

Islamabad- Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has left for a two-day private visit to Saudi Arabia today morning to inquire after the health of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.
The PM will meet Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He will also perform Umra and pay a visit to Roza-e-Rasool in Madina. In his pre-departure statement, the Prime Minister said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are tied in close bonds of shared faith and values. He said being the custodians of two holy mosques, the Saudi leadership has a special place in the heart of every Pakistani. He expressed concern over the health of the ailing King and prayed for his early recovery. Officials have said they plan to hang 500 convicts in the coming weeks.
