KARACHI - A policeman was shot dead in an act of target killing in Malir on Wednesday. The cop, 35-year-old Malik Hafeez was posted to Malir City police station and recently transferred to Police Headquarter, Saudabad.
Hafeez was on the road when unidentified armed motorcyclists shot him at Ghazi Goth, Malir City. He was shot five times. His body was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. The deceased had a wife and a daughter and was from Gujrat. Police officials say they are still tracing the case. Following the killing, police high ups have suspended Malir City SHO Abdul Khalique.
