Security for media houses demanded

rawalpindi - The Crime and Court Reporters Association Rawalpindi (CCRAR) yesterday registered its strong protest against Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) for launching attack on the office of a private TV channel in the federal capital.
The protest demonstration was staged outside Rescue 15 Office on Murree Road and was attended by journalists including Iqbal Malik, Syed Sultan Shah, Asghar Shad, Syed Sheryar, Ahmed Bhatti, Amir Sajjad Syed and Adeel Sarwar, PTI leader and workers, JI leaders Shamas-ur-Rehman Swati and Malik Azam, and others.
The protestors demanded security for media houses as well as expansion of operation Zarb-e-Azab to finish ISIS.
Addressing the protesters, the speakers condemned terrorist attack on office of a private media house and demanded police and government to provide journalists with security. They said that ISIS has started targeting media and this would not be tolerated.
Tight security arrangements were made by police to protect the protesters.
