Body of a minor girl was found in sugar cane fields in Mardan today morning.
According to DPO’s statement, “the four-year-old girl was strangled to death and she had torture marks on her body. After postmortem the body has been handed over to the parents.”
The girl was missing since a day earlier after she left her house. An investigation team has also been formed to probe the incident.
This incident comes at a time when investigations are taken place in Kasur for arresting Zainab Ansari’s murderer. Zainab, a seven-year-old was kidnapped, raped and murdered in Kasur. Her body was found from a dumpster.
