Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) today initially carrying over its yesterday's bearish onslaught saw some short recovery, but on the whole remained sluggish, as the index went sliding down below 11,000 points.The market with yesterday's fresh wounds opened limping in negative zone, but for a while showing resilience bounced back and some short recovery was seen, when suddenly the buzz about the latest news on NWFP situation waylaid the optimists in the market and bears ruled the roost until the end of trading. Thus, the KSE-100 index slashed by 217 points closed at 10959.Turnover today aggregated to 150 million shares, which as compared yesterday higher by 100 million shares. Volume leader Lucky Cement shares eroding Rs4.33 ended at Rs82.41. KSE-30 index plummeting 356 points wrapped up at 12772 points. Analysts believe that the market at 10600 marks could see some support.
