LAHORE-The Economic Coordination Committee is meeting here today at Lahore with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani in the chair. Apart from other issues, the meeting would discuss the recent hike in gas prices, industrial shutdown in Faisalabad, and devise strategy to cope with the situation. New trade policy would also come under discussion. Meanwhile, the negotiations between Prime Minister's team and members of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) over increase in gas price ended here without any breakthrough. The FCCI has announced to continue shutdown of industrial units till acceptance of its demands.
