KARACHI The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia Karachi organised a table tennis tournament here the other day. This table tennis tournament is a part of the celebrations of the 65th Indonesian Independence Day. Head of Indonesian Independence Day Celebrations Committee in Karachi Mr. Pradanto said that this tournament was part of the sports activities held to celebrate the 65th Indonesian Independence Day. He said the young generation should respect their heroes and celebrate the independence with valuable activities like sports. Many interesting activities will be held every week to mark the celebrations which include billiards, tug-of-war and sack racing. The staff of the Indonesian Consulate General with their families, the Indonesian community of Karachi and Indonesian students attended this event.
