LAHORE While exonerating MPA Sanaullah Mastikhel of the charges of exclusively initiating the move against media by way of tabling a resolution on Friday last, the three-member PML-N committee has recommended to the party leadership a review of the decision with respect to expelling him from the party. The committee, comprising Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan, Senior Adviser to the Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa and Senator Pervez Rashid, had found Mastikhel innocent. The committee has furnished the report to the party Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, also noting the fact that the anti-media resolution did not come through with the individual support but with the support of all other political parties. As such making Mastikhel a victim is not justifiable, the committee added. The committee held meeting with Masti on Wednesday and declared him innocent by urging PML-N Quaid to take back his decision. It may be recalled that taking a very serious view of the resolution against media unanimously passed in Punjab Assembly, Nawaz Sharif had expressed his displeasure and had asked the Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to throw Mastikhel out of the party.
