PESHAWAR – Jamaat-e-Islami, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Naib Ameer Mushtaq Ahmad Khan has said that JI central leadership will lead the protest rally in Peshawar to condemn the incumbent government for resumption of Nato supply routes.

The arrangements have been finalized for rally that will be started from Hayatabad to Khyber Pass, Mushtaq said while addressing a news conference on Saturday here at press club. He said that a huge contingent of JI workers across the country would be participated in the rally, which is going to be held on 16 and 17 July, from Bagh Naran, Hayatabad to Khyber Pass against the restoration of Nato supply.

Flanked by JI Secretary Information Israrullah Advocate, Deputy Secretary Jamaat Ali Shah and others workers, he said that JI has launched a countrywide movement against the government stance, adding the rulers are fighting the alien’s war, due to which inflicted huge financial and precious lives losses.

He said that a large number of innocent tribal people had been killed in the US-secret drone strikes and the ongoing military operations in Federally Administrative Tribal Area.  According to a UN report, he informed that Pakistani government had authorized the US to carry out drones strikes at tribal region.

JI ameer said the despite the conditional resumption of Nato supply, the CIA pilotless predators were still attacked at tribal areas. He said that JI will hold a rally and stage sit-in on July 16 and 17 against the restoration of Nato supply.

He informed that JI central Ameer, Munawar Hassan, Sirajul Haq, Liaqat Baloch, and Prof Ibrahim and others would be addressed the rally.
