PML-Q, PAT call PML-N rally ‘flop show’

Lahore - PML leader Ch Pervaiz Elahi has said Shehbaz Sharif attempted to provoke his supporters to go for violence at time when over hundred people martyred in a suicide attack in Mastung.

The act of the PML-N president, said the former CM, was tantamount to creating bloodshed in the country. He criticised PML-N for what he called staging a poor show

“A few hundred people participated in the flop show. The PML-N is trying to sabotage election fearing its defeat in the polls scheduled to be held on July 25.”  However, he added, their tactics and conspiracies could not be succeeded.

In a reaction to the arrest of Nawaz Sharif, PAT Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri said he was longing for punishment to Sharifs in the Model Town killing case.

He said despite heavy funding to collect workers from all over Pakistan, Sharifs failed to pull out considerable number from their stronghold, Lahore. He said dilemma of Sharifs made him recall committed, patriotic and revolutionary workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek who defied all hurdles in their way and reached the spot. He said if leader was corrupt and plunderer, then he was received by NAB, not workers.

PAT Spokesperson Noorullaha siddique termed Press conference of Shahbaz Sharif a face saving in wake of PML-N flop show on Friday. The July 13, he said in a statement, proved 9/11 for politics of Sharif family, he said. “Nawaz Sharif’s slogan of ‘‘vote ko izat du" was bulldozed and Lahorites expressed their hatred against corruption by not supporting convict family.”
