LAHORE - Khyber Eagles entered the National U23 Football Championship final after beating KPK Falcons 7-4 on penalty kicks at Kunj Football ground, Abbottabad. BalochistanZorawars have already qualified for the final, which will be played on July 16 at 4:00pm. In the second semifinal, Khyber Eagles played well against KPK Falcons and won the encounter 7-4 on penalty kicks. Both the teams fought well and were tied at 3-3 at the end of the scheduled time. However, 30th minutes extra time was given. The score was 4-4 at the end of the extra time. The decision was taken on penalty kicks. Sheraz Khan, Hussnain Khan and Shohaib Ali Haider scored one goal each for Khyber Eagles while Harris Faiz, Behram Hidayatullah and Khalid Khand missed the penalty kicks for KPK Falcons. Today (Thursday), the third position match will be played between Islamabad Tigers and KPK Falcons at 4pm.
