Prime Minster Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Tuesday called for unity, brotherhood and toleration to curb the issues of extremism and terrorism facing the country. During an address in the National Defence University, the PM said that the electricity production would be doubled to meet the demands in this regard. He deplored that the nation is still facing the consequences of Zia's dictatorial regime. He said that the incumbent government passed the 18th amendment unanimously and abolished the concurrent list by giving maximum power to the provinces as per public wishes; Balochistan package was approved, Gilgit-Baltistan assembly has been formed.
