Later, talking to the media MNA Ch Barjees Tahir said that if the government did not establish commissions to probe the Abbottabad and Navel Base tragedies it would be disastrous for the national sovereignty. I could not grasp as to why the government has been dragging its feet over forming an independent commission to probe both the incidents which have shocked the entire nation and have put question marks on the national sovereignty and security, he pointed out, adding that the policies of the incumbent government were the continuation of the dictatorial regime which had made the country vulnerable to terrorists and multiple crises.
