Pak team off to Singapore

KARACHI - Pakistan under-18 hockey team left here Tuesday afternoon for Singapore to play in the 10-Nation Asia Cup which start at the city-state June 17. Pakistan, which won the same event in Yangon (Myanmar) two years ago, would be looking forward to retain the title. Their toughest opponent in the competition would be South Korea, China and Malaysia. Olympian Rana Mujahid underscored the importance of the competition and said he was hopeful the team would give good performance.
