OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Pakistans Tanvir Dar Hockey Academy (HA) beat ETUF by 5-2 in the final of the tournament in Essen, Germany. ETUF in the league game had fully stretched Dar Academy and only lost 2-3. In the sixth minute, Dar HA gained the first penalty corner and Abid Bhatti scored first goal. Aamer Ali scored second goal. The very next minute, Paul Schafers reduced the margin with a superb goal. Dar HA restored the two-goal lead in the 29th minute through Aamer Ali who put the ball into the net. At the half time, the score was 3-1. Dar HCs scored fourth and fifth goal scored Awais. Soon, the German side had their first penalty corner and Sebastian Husmann converted it successfully. Five minutes before the final whistle. Skipper Rizwan received the winning trophy. Dar HAs Adnan was declared the player of the tournament.
