CHITRAL- Two children got drowned in Ashriat River today. According to the police, two brothers and their sister lost their balance while crossing the river with the help of a wooden piece. They fell down in the gushing water and were swept away.

Samiuddin, 3, and 6-year-old Saweera Bibi were children of Muhammad Akram belonging to Ashriat valley. Dead body of Samiuddin was recovered from the water by local volunteers but Saweerra is still missing. Parents of the deceased children have appealed to the government to help them search the dead body of Saweera Bibi.
