Recently Chief of Army Staff COAS has dismissed 12 army officers from service over corruption it includes LT Gen, Maj Gen, five Brigadiers and Lt Col. This is a great effort and a necessary step taken by CAOS for the survival of the country. In History of Pakistan Raheel is the only army officer having taken action against so many army officers for corruption at a time. This is beginning of a new era of accountability as he started from the army and acted upon English proverbs “Charity begins at home”. COAS has taken unprecedented step against corruption and set an example for other Public institutions. Now it’s necessary for civilian Government to start Operation against corruption in the name of “Operation uproot corruption”.
