ISLAMABAD - Flood Commissions members started visiting the flood-affected areas of Pakistan as they visited Kashmor on Monday where Tori Bund is situated. According to the details, the commission will visit flood-affected areas of Balochistan including Jaffarabad today (Tuesday). The commission will visit Thatta on March 16 where MS Bund is situated. The commission will also visit Sajawal area on that day. Furthermore, on March 17, the commission will visit the flood-affected areas of Punjab including Taunsa, Muzzaffargrah, Kot Addu & Jinnah Bridge in Mianwali. Earlier, the court had granted another six-week to the Flood Commission to probe the causes of the widespread devastation caused by last years floods. The commission is consisted of retired federal and provincial secretaries including A K Lodhi from Sindh, Fateh Khan Fajak from Balochistan, Khawaja Zaheerud Din from Punjab and Azam Khan from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while Qazi Sajid Additional Registrar of Supreme Court of Pakistan was appointed as facilitator of the commission. The court had authorised the commission to record statement of witnesses and investigate the relevant records.
