LAHORE-The PPPs Punjab chapter has decided to file a writ petition in Lahore High Court against Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif under article 6 of the Constitution for causing defections in the PMLQ. Addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club, partys Punjab Secretary Information, Dr. Fakhruddin Ch said that Punjab chief minister was guilty of breaching the Constitution under 18th amendment and his party had decided to move LHC against him on Thursday. The PPP leader said formation and patronization of forward bloc in Punjab Assembly was in violation of defection clause in the Constitution. He asked Shahbaz Sharif to start operation against encroachments by demolishing the illegal plaza of Punjab Law Minister, Rana Sana Ullah. He also demanded that recommendations of Punjab Assemblys committee on the issue should be made public. The PPP leader also demanded law ministers resignation for his alleged links with militant organizations. He said his party will uncover certain important facts related to killing of former Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer in the near future. Dr Fakhar accused Opposition leader in National Assembly Ch Nisar of spreading parochialism by his provocative statements. He alleged that Ch. Nisar did not want to see Nawaz Sharif as countrys prime minister, as he was insulting Sindhi Topi (cap) and Ajrak by his what he called irresponsible statements. He further alleged that PML-N was notorious for introducing negative trends in politics, and it were its leaders who once raised the slogan of 'Jaag Punjabi Jaag.
