CM sets deadline for arrest of Sikh's assassins

Peshawar- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has taken strong cognizance’s of assassination of Sikh Hakeem Peram Jeet Singh along with his employee and expressed deep concern that assassins are still at large and not arrested or identified.

The CM on contacting the Police Chief regretted that despite of his clear directives to police to come hard on heinous crimes like murders, the area police and intelligence force could not trace the killers. He said that such a delay leave a question mark over the performance of local police and higher authorities had to take stern action in such circumstances.

Pervez Khattak said that arresting the killers and bringing them to book was also essential that the killed belonged to minority community whose lives and honor is guaranteed in Islamic state and society.

He said all the minorities are very dare to him who had meritorious contributions for the nation. Hence he said we would live no stone unturned to safeguard their lives, honor and properties at all costs. The Chief Minister while setting a deadline of three days for the arrest of assassins directed to submit a detailed report of this deplorable incident to him
