LAHORE - Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has started dispatching 7.1 million textbooks to different destinations for free distribution in its partner schools.
For this purpose, 58 sites have been identified in different districts to distribute these textbooks among the partners. The PEF has set up books distribution committee with Director (Finance) Kamran Hafeez as its convener.
The foundation provides monthly fee and textbooks to its partner schools for the free education of students from low income families. Currently, 1.9 million male and female students are enrolled in PEF schools in 36 districts of the province.
