Without indicting former law minister Babar Awan, the Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday adjourned hearing of the contempt case till 17th May. The SC bench comprising Justice Athar Saeed and Justice Ejaz Afzal heard the case on Tuesday. During proceedings, the court did not indict the former minister as it was told that hearing of Intra Court Appeal (ICA) on the indictment order was due on Wednesday, and the court was requested to wait for the verdict of intra-court appeal. On this, the court adjourned the proceedings till May 17.
