LAHORE - Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaquat Baloch has said that steering committee of Difa-e-Pakistan Council has formulated proposals to block NATO supply that would be presented in the Difa-e-Pakistan Council session to be held at Mansoora on May 19 for final decision.Liaquat Baloch, who is also Chairman of Steering Committee of Difa-e-Pakistan Council, suggested that DPC might stage a long march or sit-in at all routes of Nato supply and would leave no stone unturned to block the supply. Liaquat Baloch warned the rulers to refrain from taking any cowardly decision as the nation would go to any extent to block Nato supply. He expressed deep concern over Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar’s statement regarding restoration of Nato supply. “The meeting of Chief of Army Staff, Ashfaq Pervaiz Kiani, Afghan General Sher Muhammad Karimi and Nato forces leader General Allen has deepened the concerns of the nation regarding security and integrity of the country,” he added. He said that incumbent regime was illegal and unconstitutional as it had lost its moral right to rule. “It has no right to determine the destiny of the country,” he added.To a query regarding Balochistan chief minister’s statement to open the Gwadar Port for NATO supply, he said it was totally against nation’s aspirations. “Mr. Raeesani should first maintain law and order in the province,” he suggested. He condemned the killing of Maulana Muhammad Aslam Sheikhupuri, Maulana Syed Mohsin, Maulana Nasib Khan in Karachi and Ovais Aqeel, Punjab University student. He termed the killings a conspiracy to start sectarian war in the country.
