LAHORE – In the aftermath of the gun attack on the Babu Sabu Interchange police picket, Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Muhammad Habibur Rehman directed the police to retaliate with full force in case terrorists challenged the law-enforcing agency again. The IGP also directed the police to step up security in Punjab in general and in Lahore in particular. Moreover, additional police force has been deployed at all police pickets, bunkers and important buildings in the City to avoid any further untoward incident. Rehman presided over a high-level meeting at the Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh soon after offering funeral prayers.
