GUJRANWALA : Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) started the 425 megawatt Nandipur power project in Gujranawala on Wednesday. According to media reports Nandipur power project will be inaugurated on 31st May 2014 by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after which 425 megawatt of electricity will be generated.  A Chinese company is shifting the project to gas from furnace oil after the federal government gave the green signal. Each turbine of the project will be inaugurated after every two months, sources said.
