LAHORE  - Unidentified motorcyclists shot dead a 26-year-old vendor in Ichhra and fled away, police said on Wednesday.
Nafees Ahmed was standing at his roadside stall near Shama Bus stop when two men appeared there and opened straight fire at him after a brief altercation.
The resident of Sher Shah Colony, Nafees, sustained multiple bullet wounds and died on the way to hospital. The body was removed to the morgue for autopsy.
Police investigators say they were investigating the killing keeping in view various aspects of the incident including robbery-cum-murder. A murder case was registered against unidentified killers with no arrest made yet.
FOUND DEAD: A 40-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kot Lakhpat on early Wednesday.
Some passersby spotted the body, yet to be identified, lying alongside a footpath near Lahore General Hospital (LGH) and contacted the police by phone. The body was removed to the morgue for autopsy. Further investigation was underway.
