Anti-corruption seminar

LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Punjab in collaboration with University of Central Punjab (UCP) arranged a seminar on “Role of Women in Anti-Corruption Awareness Campaign.”
The seminar was attended by a large number of people. NAB DG Maj (r) Syed Burhan Ali was the chief guest.
The guest speakers, which included Dr Sabeeha Anwer Vice Chancellor (LCWU), MS Rabiya Bajwa, advocate Supreme Court and Dr Shazia Hassan, Prof at UCP, discussed different aspects of women role in combating corruption.
Furthermore, the speakers urged the women to play their due role in ending corruption from the society.
The NAB DG summed up the discussion by stressing the need to sensitise all segments of the society about the ill effects of corruption and ways and means to overcome it.–Staff Reporter
He also reiterated the fact NAB’s awareness campaign held great importance in this regard.
This was followed by thanks giving address of Vice Chancellor University of Central Punjab Dr Zafarullah wherein he appreciated efforts undertook by NAB towards eradication of corruption.
At the end, Shields were distributed among the guest speakers.
