Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) while announcing the verdict in the case pertaining to Lottery shows on TV channels during the holy month of Ramadan has dismissed Pakistan Broadcast Authority (PBA) plea seeking nullification of IHC single bench decision.

A division bench of IHC comprising Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani and Justice Amir Farooq announced the reserved judgment on Tuesday.

The court also rejected the plea of PBA seeking stay order against IHC single bench comprising Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui decision besides adjourning the hearing of the case till May 17.

PBA through its petition has made interior secretary, secretary information and broadcasting, secretary establishment division and PEMRA respondents.
