China has taken delivery of a third Mi-26TS heavy-lift utility helicopter from Russia, the helicopter manufacturer said on Monday. The contract between Rostvertol and Lectern Aviation Supplies Co., Ltd. (China) was signed in March 2010. The helicopter, delivered three months ahead of schedule, will be used to put out forest fires. A new contract for yet another Mi-26TS helicopter could be signed with China, Rostvertol said.
