Fesco vows to better performance

FAISALABAD
The top priority of recently reconstituted Board of Directors of Faisalabad Electric Supply Company is to protect the rights and interests of its consumers and employees, said the board chairman.
Khurram Mukhtar was addressing 113th meeting of the board at Fesco Headquarters.
He said that all the segments of the society have been given due representation in the board and it would tackle various issues in a holistic manner and make hectic efforts to ensure indiscriminate services. He said that checks and balances would be maintained for the rights and privileges of Fesco consumers employees.
Earlier, the board members unanimously elected Khurram Mukhtar as chairman of the BOD.
They also congratulated him and hoped that he would make efforts for the progress of the company and welfare of its employees. The election process was completed under the supervision of board member Ijaz Ali Khan who is additional secretary (admin) at Ministry of Water & Power.
Later, the board approved accounts for the financial year 2012-13 and sanctioned the constitutions of Audit Committee. Fesco Chief Executive Officer Dr Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan thanked the board members and briefed about the administrative steps and developments in Fesco.
