Islamabad- World Health Organization (WHO) warned Islamabad again today that the screening of Pakistani passengers will be carried out at the international airports if the country failed to control the spread of polio.
The WHO has also sought data of those Pakistanis who had traveled abroad during the last six months. WHO has also complained that Pakistan did not fully comply with the travel restrictions imposed in mid 2014 and warned that polio virus is spreading rapidly in Pakistan.
In May this year the WHO had made mandatory for every Pakistani travelling abroad to present poliovirus inoculation certificate.
