Light rain in various parts of Lahore turned the weather pleasant on Wednesday while the Met office has forecast more rains with thunderstorms in northern Punjab during next 24 hours. According to the meteorological department, overnight strong winds turned the weather pleasant in Lahore, and early morning rain brought an end to the hot weather spell. Meanwhile, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Sheikhupura and other cities received light shower that is likely to continue during next 24 hours. Meanwhile, rain recorded during last 24 hours in Murree was 51 mm, Kakul 21 and Kotli 31 mm. The Met office spokesman said that the recent spell of rain has reduced the intensity of the hot weather, as the temperature dropped considerably.
