Rawalpindi- Muzaffarabad Media XI lifted the First Twenty20 Cricket Tournament 2013 title after defeating Invitational XI by four runs in a thrilling final here at Pindi Cricket Stadium. 

Muzaffarabad XI, batting first, managed to put a decent total of 118 runs for the loss of six wickets in the reduced 12 overs due to last night rain. Kashif was top scorer with 26 runs while Taimoor contributed 22 runs. Nauman took 2-24 while Gabriel de Souza got 1-22.

In reply, Invitational XI could manage to score 114 for the loss of seven wickets in 12 overs. Mohsin Ali was top scorer with 28 runs smashing five boundaries while Asad Hashmi added 25 and Tahir Mehmood unbeaten 21. Kashif clinched 3-18 while Saqib, Naeem and Taimoor got one wicket each. MNA Malik Abrar was the chief guest on the occasion while renowned journalist Masood Malik, DCO Rawalpindi Sajid Zafar Dal, MD Savor Foods Haji Nadeem along with other dignitaries and cricket lovers were also present there. Later, the chief guest distributed prizes and trophies among teams and players. Muzaffarabad Journalists XI were handed over winning trophy and gold medals while Invitational XI received runners-up trophy and silver medals.
