The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday accepted the petition filed by the PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Salman Rafique for an interim bail.
Both had pleaded in the LHC for an interim bail after the NAB started a probe against them under the allegation of corruption.
A two-member bench presided by Justice Ali Baqir Najafi heard the petition. The two brothers appeared before the LHC for the hearing.
They stated that NAB is harassing them. The two brothers further said that they had provided all record regarding allegations levelled against them.
"We are fully cooperating with NAB but we have doubts that NAB will arrest us tomorrow as NAB has made it a habit to arrest politicians after summoning them for inquiries", they further stated.
The anti-graft body had launched a probe against Saad Rafique and his brother in the Paragon Housing Society scam. The two brothers had moved the IHC for protective bail which the latter had rejected and advised then to approach the LHC.
