I would like to draw the attention of the Prime Minister and the Federal Minister for Water and Power to the posts of Managing Director PEPCO and GM HR which are lying vacant for the past three or four months. This has brought the decision making to a standstill. Besides national level policy matters, there are thousands of cases relating to officers with regard to posting, inter-company transfers, deputation sanctions that are pending due to non-availability of MD PEPCO/GM HR, resulting into financial and mental hardship for the employees. Many employees, after returning from leave or deputation, have received no salaries for the past few months due to lack of upper management. It is requested that the vacant posts be filled at the earliest to redress the genuine grievances of PEPCO officers. ASGHAR ALI ANJUM, Lahore, September 10.
