DG sports India has sent an invitation letter to Punjab Sports Board for the participation in Sixth Kabbadi World Cup in India, Waqt News reported. The Indian authorities have asked Pakistan to send its teams of men and women for the tournament.

India has asked DG Sports of Pakistan to visit India for observing the security arrangements prior to the tournament. Pakistan’s participation depends on the permission by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

After the last World Cup, Pakistan announced that it will not participate in any tournament in India because of unfair play of Indian officials.

World cup will continue from November 15 to November 29 in India. 12 countries will participate in the tournament
