LAHORE - The Judicial Activism Penal (JAP) has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court challenging temporarily relief in electricity bills announced by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

JAP Chairman Advocate Azhar Siddique submitted the PM recently addressed the traders and announced the government would give relief of Rs2.17 in electricity bills of June and Rs2.13 in the bills of July. He has challenged the PM had no powers to reduce the electricity prices. The prices were decided under Nepra laws, said the petitioner.
